1. About MASHAGAT
MASHAGAT is a technology platform that connects Customers seeking agricultural services with Service Providers offering tractors, agricultural equipment, skilled workers, labour, and other agricultural services.

MASHAGAT enables users to discover available services, make bookings, and manage service-related interactions through the app. MASHAGAT acts as a technology intermediary between Customers and Service Providers and does not directly provide agricultural services. The actual services are provided by independent Service Providers.

This Privacy Policy explains how MASHAGAT collects, uses, shares, and retains users' personal information when they use the platform.

2. Information We Collect
We may collect:
• Full Name
• Mobile Number
• Village / Location, Taluka, District, State, Country
• Device notification token (FCM)
• Firebase Authentication User ID (UID)
• OTP authentication information

• Approximate or precise location (only with your permission)

3. Booking Information
We may collect booking-related information, including Customer details, Service Provider details, relevant equipment or service details, work type, booking date and time, village or location, booking status, payment type, payment status, booking amount, and ratings, where applicable.

4. Location Information
Location information may be collected with your permission to help Farmers discover nearby services and help Owners receive nearby booking requests. MASHAGAT does not continuously track your live background location.Location permission can be denied or revoked through your device settings, although some features may not function properly.

5. Payment Information
MASHAGAT may store booking-related payment type and payment status, as well as relevant provider subscription information, including selected plans, subscription status, subscription dates, and payment-request records, where applicable. MASHAGAT does not collect or store debit card numbers, credit card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, or internet banking passwords through the app.

6. Provider Subscriptions and Free Trial
MASHAGAT offers subscription plans to Service Providers who wish to offer their services through the platform.

Free Trial: When a Service Provider adds a service for the first time, they are eligible for a one-time one-month free trial , subject to the applicable trial terms. The free trial allows the provider to access subscription-based service-providing features during the trial period.

Available Subscription Plans: After the free trial, Service Providers may choose a subscription plan according to their needs. Available durations include one month, three months, six months, and one year.

Access to Provider Services: An active subscription is required for Service Providers to offer services through MASHAGAT. If a provider does not have an active subscription, or their subscription expires, they will not be able to provide services through the platform until an eligible subscription becomes active. Other app functions that do not require an active subscription may remain available.

Customers: Customers do not need a subscription to browse, book, or receive services through MASHAGAT.

Subscription Records: MASHAGAT may maintain subscription status, subscription requests, selected plan details, relevant dates, and related records for service administration, customer support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Subscription availability, duration, and access are subject to the applicable terms displayed in the app.

7. How We Use Information
Your information is used to verify your account, process bookings, connect Farmers and Owners, send notifications, improve search results, provide customer support, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.We may also use information to improve app performance, security and user experience.

8. Sharing of Information
Booking-related information may be shared with the Customer and the corresponding Service Provider involved in a booking to facilitate and manage the requested services.

Authorised MASHAGAT administrators may access user information as necessary to manage and operate the platform, provide customer support, resolve disputes, maintain records, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Access After Account Deletion: After a user's account is permanently deleted, certain associated records, including bookings, payment-related information, ratings, and subscription payment requests, may remain accessible to authorised MASHAGAT administrators for legitimate business purposes, dispute resolution, record maintenance, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable legal requirements. Other account information is handled in accordance with our account deletion and data retention procedures.

MASHAGAT does not sell users' personal information. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a court order, or a lawful government request.

9. Firebase Services
MASHAGAT uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to provide core platform functionality.We may send service-related notifications, booking updates and important account-related messages through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

10. Data Security
Reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards are implemented to protect your information. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention
MASHAGAT retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining booking and subscription records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and misuse, and complying with applicable legal obligations.

Booking and Service Records: Booking details, service information, booking status, ratings, reviews, and related records may be retained for as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and applicable legal requirements.

Payment and Subscription Records: Subscription requests, subscription history, payment-related records, and associated information may be retained for the period required by applicable laws or for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legitimate business purposes.

Personal Information After Account Deletion: A user's name, mobile number, user ID, and other relevant information may remain in existing booking, subscription, or other necessary business records after account deletion. Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that all associated records are immediately deleted.

Deletion and Anonymisation: When information is no longer required for its intended purpose and no legal or other lawful retention requirement applies, MASHAGAT will delete or anonymise the information in accordance with its data retention procedures.

Access to retained information is restricted to authorised persons for legitimate purposes.

12. Account Deactivation and Deletion
Users can deactivate or permanently delete their accounts using the applicable options available in the MASHAGAT App.

Account deactivation restricts account access but does not necessarily delete the account or all associated records.

When a user permanently deletes their account, the account is removed in accordance with MASHAGAT's account deletion process. Certain booking, subscription, and related business records may be retained where necessary for legitimate business purposes, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Users are encouraged to save copies of booking details and other information they may need for future reference. Personal information that is no longer required and is not subject to a lawful retention requirement will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our data retention procedures.

13. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be published with an updated 'Last Updated' date.
